Contract Type: Fixed-Term maternity cover until 31 March 2027 (or earlier return of the post holder)
Hours: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
Provisional Start Date: 1 September 2026
Your opportunity to lead Art and Photography and inspire the next generation of students.
As the Curriculum Leader of Art and Photography, you will lead our small team, overseeing the curriculum, teaching, and assessment strategies to ensure high standards of student achievement. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support a team of dedicated teachers. If you are passionate about Art and Photography and committed to fostering a positive, creative learning environment, we would love to hear from you.
Part-time working patterns would be considered.
About you:
You will have:
- experience of working with children and young people.
- experience of assimilating information to facilitate the delivery of lesson plans effectively.
- a basic knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
- excellent standard of oral and written communication skills and ability to understand and convey information effectively.
- good organisational and efficient administration skills.
- the ability to build effective working relationships with teachers and other academy staff.
- the skills to participate in class discussions in an informed and sensitive manner.

About Digitech Studio School Bristol:
Digitech delivers a specialised curriculum for 14 to 19-year-olds, where we offer progression into the creative digital and high-tech sectors. We are located in Warmley, on the outskirts of Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Studio schools are small by design, and we only take 90 students into each year group. This allows us to meet the needs of students in a personalised way.
Digitech Studio School has been on an enormous improvement journey over the past few years which has seen outcomes consistently improve year-on-year with all indicators. Digitech is a 14-19 Studio School that is a fully integrated part of the Cabot Learning Federation. We are a specialist studio school providing a bespoke curriculum for the coders, designers, creatives, film makers and entrepreneurs of the future.
The school is going from strength to strength with improving outcomes each year. Student and parent voice is strong.
There are 220 students who study at Digitech and both staff and students enjoy this smaller setting and the benefits that this brings.
