Excellent organisational and personal management skills
Effective planning and teaching
Effective behavior management
An ability to manage, lead, motivate and inspire a team
Monitor and evaluate standards within the department following a school framework
An ability to develop good working relationships with students and staff
Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines
Use data to set appropriate and challenging targets for student performance and provide focus for the strategic development of the department
Good ICT skills (and / or desire to develop these further)
The ability to monitor and evaluate teaching, learning and assessment standards including lesson observations
Excellent standard of written communication
