What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will have a real passion for their subject and a desire to work collaboratively within a very well established team to ensure RE is outstanding at St Edmund’s. They will:
be an excellent teacher of RE at KS3, 4 & 5.
have excellent communication and behaviour management skills
be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St Edmund’s and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.
work closely with the PICCL to ensure all students actively engage in prayer and liturgy at St Edmund’s
As a practising Catholic, the successful candidate will have leadership experience across RE (GCSE & A level). Accreditation of AST/NPQML status or similar would be an advantage together with strong organisational and highly effective planning skills. It is desirable for the successful candidate to have examiner experience, knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Schools inspection process.
