What skills and experience we're looking for

Uxbridge High School is seeking a Curriculum Leader to head up a thriving, progressive Science department and to lead it to the next stage of its development.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the leadership, management and co-ordination of all aspects of the Science curriculum as well as inspiring and leading a highly motivated team.

This is a senior and pivotal role within the school as a whole and we wish to shortlist candidates who have an exceptional track record of highly effective leadership. The successful candidate will:

  • be ready to work at a senior and strategic level;
  • lead by example, through outstanding practice and professionalism; - demonstrate their ethos of putting our students at the heart of our curriculum;
  • driven to make a difference, to overcome barriers, to be relentless in enabling all students to make exceptional progress;
