Thank you for expressing an interest in the post of Curriculum Leader of Religious Studies at Copthall School.
We are looking to recruit passionate, outward looking Curriculum Leader for Religious Studies who will has a track record of inspiring young people through their teaching and supporting students to make outstanding progress.

We recognise the role education can play in addressing social inequalities and being a culturally diverse girls’ school, Religious Studies plays a significant part in celebrating and supporting the wide range of cultures that our students represent.
Through our Religious Studies curriculum, we support our young people to better understand the world around them.
Religious Studies is popular across our school community and is taught as a core subject across Key Stages 3 and 4 as well as us offering a GCSE and A level pathway in Key Stages 4 and 5.
The successful candidate will have experience with curriculum development, a clear understanding of national statutory expectations surrounding the content of Religious Studies in school and the ability to lead and grow the department. They should also have an infectious passion for their subject with a willingness to building partnerships across the local community.
