Trust in Learning Academies are looking to appoint a Data Analyst to work in the Trust’s central education team. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, impressive technical skills as well as excellent data visualisation skills.
The role will suit someone who either has experience as a data analyst in a multi academy trust providing summary data to Trust Directors or alternatively could suit someone looking to step into a values-driven, ethical organisation such as an educational trust, who is able to learn very quickly and has a strong academic background in data analytics.
You will need a strong skillset for this role – accurate written and verbal skills in English, excellent organisational skills, and strong problem-solving skills. You will have advanced Excel skills and experience in integrating, analysing and presenting business data. Essentially, you must have experience in developing and maintaining dashboards through business analytics software such as Microsoft BI or an equivalent where the learning is transferable, such as Oracle or Tableau. Our Trust uses Microsoft Office suite and SharePoint. Your role will support evidence-informed decision making, which ultimately makes a difference to the educational experience of thousands of children across Bristol.
In terms of personal attributes, we are looking for someone with a professional attitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems in a creative, resourceful and pragmatic way. You must be proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We need you to be adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. And most of all we are looking for someone who is kind – with a positive attitude and willingness to step in to help colleagues.
This is a very exciting role. You will be joining a highly innovative, inspirational and ambitious organisation with investment in people at its core.
We offer
- Paid induction and training suited to the role
- Confidential access to an Employee Assistance Programme

- Use of the Cycle Scheme
- Paid completion of a DBS check

- Where eligible, automatic enrolment to the relevant pension scheme
- Honouring of continuous service earned in the Local Authority
