St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced Data and Exams Officer to join our friendly, hardworking team.

The Role

You will present, interpret and analyse accurate data on pupil attainment and progress for The Headteacher and members of the SLT.

You will be responsible for managing the efficient and effective administration of all internal and external examinations both general and vocational within the school, including liaising with staff, pupils, parents/carer, invigilators, examination boards, and other educational organisations.

You will also have responsibilities in examination, data, administration and in any other duties which may be reasonably directed by the Headteacher or a member of the SLT.

The Individual

You will have obtained GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics. You will have proven experience of working in a school environment in an examination and / or administrative capacity. You will have experience of planning and managing examination procedures.

You will have the ability to make decisions for the effective running of the administration relating to examinations and data processes. You must have highly developed communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Whilst being a Catholic is not a requirement, you must be willing to support the Catholic life and ethos in our academies.

St Thomas More School is a mixed 11-16 Voluntary Catholic Academy with 430 pupils on roll, serving the four local Catholic parishes of St Anne’s Buxton, St Mary’s New Mills, Ss John Fisher and Thomas More in Chapel-en-le-Frith and the Sacred Heart in Whaley Bridge. The school also admits a number of children of other faiths and of no faith each year according to criteria established by the Diocese and Trust.

From September 2018, the school converted to Academy status as a member of the St Ralph Sherwin Catholic Multi-Academy Trust: a Trust set up by the Catholic Diocese of Nottingham.
