We are excited to share this opportunity to join our brilliant performance and data team. As a critical member of the team, you will work in conjunction with the head of data and other members of the team on the development of the ‘front-end’ system architecture, helping to ensure that trust staff at all levels are using the school management information systems (MIS) effectively, harnessing its full functionality.

You will help provide secure and efficient data reporting, visualisation, and analytics generated by business intelligence solutions and through the trust wide MIS. You will support the team in building and sustaining cohesive working relationships both within the team and across the wider organisation.

This role is offered as a part time (0.5FTE) role working for 18.25 hours per week, all year round. You will remain based in your current academy with occasional travel to our Birmingham office and other academies as required.

About you

We are looking for skilled and experienced data professionals with a strong background in education management information systems (MIS) and business intelligence solutions.

Our ideal candidates will have expertise in Microsoft Power BI, Power Platform, and Excel. They will bring proven experience in data analytics, visualization, and developing scalable BI solutions, with a deep understanding of application security models and agile/waterfall methodologies. Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can innovate and improve processes while maintaining attention to detail. They will be adaptable, resilient, and passionate about fostering a data-informed culture that drives decision-making.
