Data Manager/Class Teacher job summary

The Governing Body of this successful 11-16 school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and versatile professional to join our team as a Secondary School Teacher & Data Manager. This dual role combines teaching responsibilities (30 periods per fortnight) with data management duties, including overseeing timetabling, the MIS, supporting the Exams Officer and data analysis. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage school data systems effectively. The role will require the successful candidate to work the day before and the day of the GCSE results.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in secondary education.
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience using school management systems (e.g., SIMS and Arbor).
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • High proficiency in data-handling software eg. Sisra and excel
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
