37 hours per week – 40 weeks per year (Term time, including TD Days and 1 week to coincide with examination results)

Salary: Grade H - Points 15-17 (£29,269-£31,364) FTE (DOE)

Actual Salary: £25,820-£27,668 (DOE) pro rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-organised, flexible and hardworking Data Manager to control and maintain the school’s Management Information System. We currently use SIMS but are migrating to Arbor from September 2024. The post holder will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team in order to ensure the effective use of data to ensure and improve student attainment.

You will be responsible for all aspects of school data management including pre-empting any changes and developments which the school will need to make in the field of MIS.

We are seeking someone who possesses:

  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge and the capacity to work under pressure
  • The ability to design and produce comprehensive reports, analyse complex data, demonstrate and disseminate data to others, have an understanding of school performance statistics and assist with the timetable process
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible approach

Experience of SIMS or Arbor and data management within a secondary school setting would be advantageous, but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment with excellent attendance and punctuality and be willing to actively seek to develop their own learning to enhance the service delivered.
