Are you skilled in data management and passionate about education? Longsands Academy is seeking a dedicated Data Manager to oversee our MIS and associated systems. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and accurate reporting of assessment data, driving improvements in student attainment and progress through effective data analysis.

Your Role:

    • Data Management Expert: You excel at managing academy data and curriculum management information systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Performance Driver: You provide key data to the Senior Leadership Team and staff, helping to inform and drive performance improvements across the academy.
    • Analytical Thinker: You produce detailed reports and analyse data trends to support informed decision-making.
    • Educator and Trainer: You coordinate and train staff on data understanding and MIS usage, promoting effective use of management information systems.
    • System Supporter: You support the effective use of management information systems throughout the academy, ensuring they are utilized to their full potential.
    • Results Manager: You manage the importing of results and database information from various systems, maintaining comprehensive and accurate data.
    • Collaborative Partner: You work closely with the Exams Officer to support the management of results and analysis processes.
    • Detail-Oriented: You ensure all pupil personal and contact data is accurate and up to date, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
    About You:
    • MIS Proficient: You have up-to-date knowledge of school management information systems (MIS) and a comprehensive understanding of databases and spreadsheet software.
    • Experienced Professional: You bring experience from a similar role, preferably within an academy setting, demonstrating your ability to adapt and excel in educational environments.
    • Analytical Expert: You possess the ability to produce meaningful reports, conduct detailed analysis, and identify data trends to support informed decision-making.
