What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Day Care Manager to lead and develop our Seedlings Day Care provision. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for early years education to make a real impact on shaping this new service from the very beginning.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the provision, including overseeing staffing and training; safeguarding; working alongside our Trust Early Years Lead on a curriculum that supports children’s development; and building relationships with parents and carers to ensure their involvement in the children’s learning journey.

You will need an NNEB or equivalent qualification, strong leadership skills, experience in a day or early years setting and a passion for supporting children’s growth in line with our school values of Respect, Equality, Achievement, Courage and Honesty.

What the school offers its staff

Seedlings Day Care will work closely with our existing Saplings two-year-old Nursery and Saplings three- and four-year-old Nursery, forming a strong foundation of continuity and care for the children as part of the Primary School setting.The school’s core values will be key to ensuring that we provide a safe, engaging environment where children are given opportunities to develop in the prime areas of learning. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school where the pursuit of excellence underpins all our practice.
