Department Leader job summary

To be responsible to the Assistant Head and/or Head of School for leading delegated aspects of the school, including aspects that span Highfield Littleport and Highfield Ely.

To play a key role under the direction of the Head of School and/or Assistant Head, and as part of the LT, in formulating the aims and objectives of the school; establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved, managing staff and resources to achieve the aims and objectives of the school, and monitoring progress towards their achievement.

To develop and sustain strong links with parents and the wider community, in order to sustain their involvement in the successful provision of education at the school.
