Salary: Outer London TLR 2c Start Date: January 2022 Contract: Permanent Full Time

Strive, Succeed, Surpass

Caterham High is on a journey to excellence. If you would like to join us as part of the Middle Leadership group, working in an exciting period of development and change, then we would like to hear from you.

At Caterham High we strive to achieve aspirational outcomes and provision for our children and young people, set within a culture of inclusion and high expectations.

Our KS4 results improved substantially in 2019 with a significant jump in Progress 8. Our 6th Form results remained steady. Ofsted noted (Sept 2018) that there is “energised leadership” and “absolute clarity about what needs to improve”. The report also noted that students’ behaviour is consistently good in lessons and that they are respectful and contribute positively to the school’s work and culture.

This is a new role in the school and as such is an exciting opportunity for the right person to create and support an already successful and expanding department.

We need someone with developing leadership skills who is passionate about Teaching and Learning, and understand the impact they can have on children’s lives by improving outcomes and confidence in learning.

We currently teach ICT and Computing across all key stages, and also GCSE Business, Applied Business, Economics and Finance at KS4 and KS5. We need a computing subject specialist to enhance the development of a vibrant, engaging curriculum. These subjects are very popular at Caterham High and the outcomes are good or excellent in each subject area.

Are you interested? If so, please contact Debby Venner (HR Manager) for more information and an application pack or see our website.

Completed application forms should be e-mailed to D.Venner@ecaterham.net by 10am on Wednesday 13th October 2021.

Please note, the school will assess applications immediately on application and reserves the right to interview and appoint a suitable candidate before the closing date.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offer of a position is subject to receiving satisfactory references and an Enhanced DBS Clearance.
