What skills and experience we're looking for
- The role of Deputy Curriculum Leader - English & Literacy requires you to contribute to the effective leadership of the curriculum area, monitoring of standards of performance and teaching and learning; and to develop and enhance the teaching practice of others
- Applicants must possess a suitable degree and UK recognised teaching qualification (i.e. QTS, PGCE)
- Experience and demonstrable success within English with strong leadership, management and sound administrative skills
- Ability to enthuse and effectively communicate your subject to students both written and orally

Alec Reed Academy is a thriving, inclusive all‑through school for pupils aged 3–19, serving the diverse community of Northolt in the London Borough of Ealing. Founded by the late Sir Alec Reed and opened in 2005, the Academy has grown significantly and now educates over 1,600 pupils across Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Post‑16 phases.
