Deputy Curriculum Leader Maths job summary
We are seeking a maths specialist who is passionate about their subject and who shares our vision and commitment to academic scholarship and high expectations for behaviour and personal development to support the Director of Maths in the leadership of the department – taking responsibility for one particular keystage.
We know our staff are our most important resource. As a result, professional development and well-being is vital to the success of the school and our young people. We are committed to excellence and justice in a successful and harmonious community.
An ability to teach Further Maths at Key Stage 5 would be an advantage.
This role would suit an experienced teacher or a NQT. We welcome and support NQTs with an excellent NQT program, tailored to individual needs, where you will be supported by a mentor. Support and training is continued after the first year of teaching.

Students are encouraged to become independent and confident learners. Maths is a popular choice in the sixth form where large numbers of students study A levels in Maths and Further Maths. Many progress onto mathematical pathways beyond school.
