- Experience: Experience in teaching mathematics, preferably up to KS5.

Your Role in Building Brighter Futures:
As a Deputy CTL for Mathematics at SBL, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an inspirational teacher to assist our CTL in the leadership of our enthusiastic and dynamic Mathematics team. You will be able to inspire students to achieve highly regardless of their prior ability. The successful candidate will be committed to supporting teachers to excel and be skilled at developing high quality teaching strategies and materials. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious practitioner looking to step up and support the successful running of this department.
As Deputy CTL for Mathematics, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the CTL in managing the Maths department, overseeing curriculum planning, delivery, assessment, and tracking, with a particular focus on one key stage.
- Promoting and supporting professional development and best practices.
- Ensuring high standards of teaching and learning within the department and continued professional development for the team.
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress in one key stage, implementing strategies to address underperformance, with a particular focus on disadvantaged students and those with SEND
