Full time, term time: 37 hours per week*, term time + 2 weeks in school holidays (40 weeks per annum) Monday – Thursday 8 am to 4 pm and Friday 8 am - 3.30 pm

Grade F, Scale Points 12 - 17 pro-rata - actual salary £21,422 to £23,476. A pay award is pending and so the salary will be more than published.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a confident and caring person to assist our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Keeping children safe is at the very foremost of our work: everyone is responsible for the safeguarding of children. Our teams provide ‘joined-up’ support for our students because their welfare is of the utmost importance. We strongly believe that high quality support is also a key factor in ensuring academic success. You will:

  • be enthusiastic about giving young people the best possible start in life;
  • ideally have experience of working with young people and families;
  • have office administration skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
  • be professional, enthusiastic, organised, self-motivating and able to demonstrate flexibility in your approach;
  • have a confident, caring and patient nature, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • be a team player, and be able to contribute to the shared responsibility ethos of our school;
  • have or be prepared to have an up to date knowledge of attendance process and procedures.
