Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead job summary

Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated person to work as one of our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads and to be a part of our Safeguarding Team at Passmores Academy.

Outstanding written and verbal communication and competent IT skills are essential for this role. You will need to be happy to learn how to chair meetings, liaise with a range of external agencies and to learn the skill of contacting parents / carers to have often challenging conversations. A strong desire to support the wellbeing of our young people is essential.

The role is:

37 hours per week

42 Working Weeks (48.1 paid weeks) - negotiable for the right candidate

Salary: Scale 7 Point 19 - £30,249.31 pro rata per annum (including fringe allowance)

Closing date: 16/4/26

Interviews: Week beginning 20/4/26
