This position represents an excellent opportunity to play a key part in shaping and supporting the continued success of five schools, each at a different stage of its journey.

United Learning is a dynamic and rewarding organisation to work for. There is a strong focus on developing people and empowering innovation; leaders are given exceptional opportunities to learn and grow, whilst all staff are valued and celebrated. We are committed to nurturing the distinct ethos of each school, while ensuring that United Learning’s mission of bringing out the ‘Best in Everyone’ remains at the heart of everything we do. Our Cluster joined United Learning in September 2019 and continues on a journey of sustained improvement, with each school developing its own identity, values, and priorities to better serve its local community.

In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Business Manager to deliver high-quality strategic financial planning, ensuring that each school makes the most effective use of its resources to achieve the very best outcomes for students. You will build strong, professional relationships with Principals and Senior Leadership Teams across the Cluster, providing both support and constructive challenge. About United Learning

United Learning is a group of schools which aims to provide excellent education to children and young people across the country. We seek to improve the life chances of all the children and young people we serve and make it our mission to bring out ‘the best in everyone’ - students, staff, parents and the wider community. We uniquely comprise schools in both the state and the independent sectors. We currently educate over 55,000 students and employ over 9,000 members of staff including over 4,000 teachers.

As a group, we can offer more to both staff and young people than any single school could offer alone. The growing range of outstanding group-wide activities that we can provide will mean that more young people will have truly exceptional and inspiring experiences. We believe that our Group contains the most developed relationships and practical interaction between independent and state schools in the country, creating benefits for all the schools involved.

As part of United Learning, the Cambridge Cluster schools share the objective of bringing out ‘the best in everyone’, enabling each student to become a balanced, happy and articulate person with intellectual freedom, confidence, compassion, integrity and a lifelong love of learning.
