What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking to recruit an exceptional colleague to join our well-resourced faculty from April 2026. We are seeking a highly skilled leader and practitioner who can enthuse both students and staff, helping us to maintain and raise attainment in this key subject. This is a highly demanding and important leadership position, and we are looking for someone with superb interpersonal skills who can take the initiative and motivate others. The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to inspire our students and deliver lessons that secure progress for every student.

We have a high attaining, engaged student body with students who enjoy Maths. The teaching staff in our supportive team are all qualified Maths specialists, with the addition of two non-teaching Maths graduates supporting years 8-11. The department has worked collaboratively to achieve high attainment at GCSE, and good progress for disadvantaged students.
