Deputy Head of School job summary

The Deputy Head of School post will be ideal for an excellent classroom practitioner looking for the next stage in their career. The successful candidate will be fully supported by an Executive Principal and Head of School empowering the successful candidate to focus their attention on ensuring the pupils in the academy benefit from the highest levels of teaching, learning and curriculum opportunities.

We’re a smaller than average primary school located just outside the town centre of Kidsgrove, with excellent transport links via car or rail. St Thomas’ has a committed staffing body of both teaching and support staff and benefits from the wider support network at Three Spires. Our children are currently taught in single year groups across the school; whilst our popular nursery caters for children age two and above ahead of them joining our early years class.
