Merstham Park School are looking for a talented and motivated Deputy Head of Science, who is able to inspire our students and engender a love of learning. 

The Science team at Merstham park is committed to creating a supportive environment where professional development, learning from each other and sharing good practice is at the heart of the department. 

As a department our vision is to develop students who are effective problem solvers and critical thinkers that have a deep understanding of the global systems, understanding how Science plays it's part in them. We do this through a relentless focus on high quality teaching and learning providing students with a thorough understanding of the scientific concepts around them. 

We value the opportunities that extra-curricular can provide. As a result we have a broad programme, and all members of the Department are actively involved in providing extra curricular opportunities either at lunchtime or after school.
