Deputy Head of Science job summary

To start January 2026 (or alternatively Easter 2026). This position is for a full time member of staff however a part time option may be available for the right candidate.

We are seeking to appoint a successful aspiring or existing leader of science to join our ambitious team at Parkside Community School. They will be a passionate and highly effective teacher of science, who is able to support, motivate and encourage in this Deputy Head of Science role.

Role and responsibilities: Deputy Head of Science

The Deputy Head of Science will:

Support the work of the Head of Science in raising the standards of teaching, learning and achievement in the department.
