What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced educator to join our team as Deputy Headteacher. This pivotal role involves working closely with the Headteacher to provide strategic leadership and ensure the highest standards of academic excellence, student welfare, and staff development within our school community. The successful candidate (or candidates in a job-share capacity) will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. We would like a Deputy Headteacher who has a drive and expert knowledge in a specific field within Primary education that can offer a fresh dimension to our senior leadership team: What’s your thing that makes you get up for work each day? This post offers the chance to work with our great team of highly committed and talented staff and improve the life chances of our wonderful pupils, who have a diverse range of individual needs and abilities. The specific role and responsibilities will depend on the experience and aspirations of the individual appointed, but this role will initially not be class based.
