Deputy Head Teacher job summary
Key Purposes
To work with and support the Head Teacher and make a significant contribution to the school’s development planning, ensuring that appropriate policies are implemented in accordance with the school’s aims and objectives.
To deputise for the Head Teacher in all aspects in their absence, as directed by the governing board.
To fulfil the professional responsibilities of a head teacher when required, in line with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document (STPCD).
