What skills and experience we're looking for

As a result of the promotion of the current Deputy Headteacher of our school, an exciting opportunity has arisen, for an exceptional candidate to become the next Deputy Headteacher of St. Bede’s Catholic Primary School. We are seeking someone who is ambitious, collaborative and a practising Catholic. We want a leader who has the passion and determination to work alongside the Headteacher, to drive the school to ‘outstanding’, working as part of the team at our Catholic Education trust. The Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle and Directors of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust invite applications for this position of Deputy Headteacher to commence September 2024. We are looking for a leader who:

Is a practising Catholic · Has commitment to nurturing and promoting our Trust’s distinctive ethos. · Has a proven track record as an outstanding practitioner across primary key stages. · Will inspire, challenge and encourage staff. · Will enable every child to reach their highest potential and to guide them to be the best that they can be.

. Will assist in developing the spirituality and wellbeing of staff and the community. · Has an excellent ability to think strategically and experience of contributing to whole school improvement. · Has the ability and ambition to continue to raise the already high standards in the school and across the Trust.
