About the Role

As Deputy Headteacher, you will:

  • Deputise for the Headteacher as required
  • Lead and inspire staff to deliver outstanding teaching and learning
  • Ensure effective safeguarding, inclusion, and pastoral care as Designated Safeguarding Lead
  • Support the strategic development and day-to-day management of the school
  • Drive continuous school improvement in line with our vision and values
  • Develop strong partnerships with parents, the community, and external agencies

About You

You will be an experienced leader with a successful track record in primary education, an outstanding classroom practitioner, and a passionate advocate for every child's success. As our Deputy Headteacher, you'll have:

  • Recognised Qualified Teacher Status and a first degree
  • Recent leadership experience at Deputy Head or Assistant Head level
  • Deep understanding of the National Curriculum, school improvement, and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • The drive to inspire, mentor, and motivate others
