Deputy Headteacher - Academic job summary

The Governing Body of this successful 11-16 school is seeking to appoint a highly motivated leader with vision and ambition to help take the school forward into the next stage of its journey of excellence.

• Able to demonstrate a track record in raising achievement, of innovation and success
• Committed to high quality teaching and learning
• Able to challenge and motivate others to achieve excellent practice

• An excellent classroom practitioner who can consistently deliver and model best practice
• Committed to leading whole school development of quality of education, including curriculum, teaching, CPD and achievement.
• Able to play a major contribution in the day to day operations of the school.
• Able to plan strategically and deliver on targets
• An excellent communicator with a proven record of successful leadership
