Further details about the role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the Governing Body to appoint an inspirational and talented teacher, ready to take the next step in their leadership journey to the permanent and full-time post of Deputy Headteacher, from May 2023 or as soon possible thereafter.
Our thriving and supportive school is embarking on an exciting transition from first school to primary school, so this is a unique opportunity for an outstanding candidate to help shape the future of our growing school and ensure that our pupils build on their successes as their journey with us continues into upper KS2 for the first time.
he Governing Body is looking for a dynamic, committed, and ambitious leader who will be able to work closely with the Headteacher to lead and develop the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities; promote high standards of teaching and learning; inspire, motivate, and develop staff; drive change and ensure the very best educational and pastoral provision for all our children.
The successful candidate will have whole school responsibility for leading and co-ordinating SEN provision across school, alongside the responsibility for teaching a class. The ability to work flexibly as part of a team and managing the day-to-day management of the school whilst demonstrating a positive outlook and attitude, is key to the success of this role.
