An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a visionary, ambitious and creative individual, who is skilled in school leadership and wants to play a pivotal role in a leadership structure that aspires to be the very best.Wingfield Academy is looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher to work alongside a high committed and hardworking senior leadership team to continue the school’s journey of sustained improvement towards outstanding. The post would suit an energetic and enthusiastic leader with a strong track record of raising achievement who would like the opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team.

This is a key position within the school and will suit a professional who has a deep knowledge of effective classroom practice coupled with a clear vision and a proven track record of raising standards. The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner, able to lead by example, and will possess a significant background of strong leadership within a secondary school.We welcome applications from candidates who have an interest in any or all areas of school improvement. The portfolio of this role will be agreed at interview and will be aligned to the successful candidates’ interests, expertise and identified school improvement areas.
