- have recent and substantial deputy head
experience, or applicable
- be ambitious for the children and community of Heybrook
- promote and value our inclusive and nurturing approach
- be passionate about teaching and learning and have the interpersonal skills to nurturetalent in our large school staff
- committed to maintaining a strong, positive, empowering ethos and vision
- have recent experience leading safeguarding

Heybrook Primary and Nursery School is a vibrant, diverse and large learning community. We are a 3-form entry school with a Nursery on a split site serving the community of central Rochdale. The governors are looking for an inspirational and dynamic Deputy Headteacher to work alongside our established senior leadership team. We are looking for someone who values and motivates our successful school family and will help the school on its continued ambitious journey of school improvement. We want someone who is passionate about providing opportunities for our children.
