Deputy Headteacher job summary
Over the past few years, we have been relentlessly driven to make Castle Hill Schools the best that they can be and we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher to join our Leadership Team, leading Teaching and Learning. Whilst this is a role without class responsibility, this growing leader will also be an excellent classroom practitioner. Castle Hill is an excellent place to learn and develop as a leader, with passionate staff and great opportunities.

The Role
The Deputy Head Teacher at Castle Hill plays a major role in supporting the Head Teacher with the day-to-day management of the school as well as taking a lead role in the strategic direction of the school in particular, leading teacher development and teaching and learning overall. As a member of the leadership team, the Deputy Head Teacher will play a major role in formulating the culture, vision, aims and objectives of the school, establishing the policies through which they shall be achieved, managing staff and resources to achieve the aims and objectives and monitor and evaluate progress towards their achievement.
