We are seeking a passionate and visionary leader who can inspire, challenge, and drive excellence across our school community. The successful candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher with a strong commitment to comprehensive education.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, resilience, and robust leadership.
  • Have experience in senior school leadership, currently serving as an Assistant Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher, with a proven track record of positive impact.
  • Exhibit exceptional teaching and learning expertise, with a clear understanding of curriculum development, timetabling, and raising academic standards.
  • Have the ability to motivate staff and students, creating a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
  • Be skilled in performance management, data analysis, and financial oversight, ensuring strategic and operational success.

Further details about the role

This role is centered around curriculum leadership, timetabling, and student outcomes, but extends beyond these core areas. As a Deputy Headteacher, you will:

  • Lead and manage the school’s curriculum strategy, ensuring a broad and balanced educational offer.
  • Take ownership of the school timetable and key stage transition planning.
  • Be accountable for exam outcomes and curriculum development.
  • Inspire and challenge both staff and students, fostering an environment of high achievement.
  • Play a pivotal role in school improvement planning, governance, and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop future leadership skills with opportunities to prepare for Headship.

Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire – offering an excellent quality of life with affordable housing, countryside surroundings, and easy access to the historic city of Lincoln.
