Deputy Headteacher job summary
A fantastic opportunity has emerged for an ambitious and inspirational leader to become our second Deputy Headteacher, working alongside our current Deputy Headteacher at Horton Grange Primary School.
Working in close partnership with the Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in driving school improvement, shaping strategic direction and ensuring the very best outcomes for our children. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior leader who is passionate about primary education and ready to make a lasting impact.

As Deputy Headteacher, you will:
- Provide positive, professional leadership across the school
- Support the Headteacher in both the strategic and operational leadership of the school
- Analyse performance data rigorously to inform planning, intervention and school improvement
- Lead key priorities within the School Development Plan
- Play a central role in staff CPD, appraisal and self-evaluation processes
- Model outstanding classroom practice and maintain a strong teaching presence
