Bodmin College is a large, 11-18 secondary school with 1250 students currently on roll with an Area Resource Base (ARB) of 51 students. We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher with the knowledge, drive and vision to develop a wholly inclusive school culture where all students belong, feel safe and are challenged. The successful candidate will lead the strategic development of inclusion, where an ambitious curriculum enables every student to achieve academically and to develop their confidence, character and resilience so that they can genuinely realise a life of boundless choice and opportunities. A key part of this role, is the leadership of our Area Resource Base, enabling us to grow the provision to meet the needs of our community and ensuring that every student receives an ambitious curriculum and exceptional programme of personal development.

In addition, the college has also been successful in the exciting School Rebuilding Programme which will see another significant level of investment to improve the buildings on our site. We are hopeful that this award will assist us in continuing to develop the learning environment for all our students and staff. It is a long term project which will help us to deliver our vision for excellent education in the local area.
