Deputy Headteacher - Inclusion, Student Culture & Welfare job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced leader to join the leadership team. Working under the direction of the Headteacher, alongside a Deputy headteacher for Raising Achievement.
The Deputy Headteacher will lead on Inclusion, Behaviour and
welfare. You will oversee and line
manage the work of four assistant headteachers that have responsibility for
SEND, Safeguarding and student behaviour and attitudes.
The Deputy
Headteacher will:-
- communicate the school’s vision compellingly and supporting the headteacher’s strategic leadership
- the day-to-day management of the school
- formulating the aims and objectives of the school
- establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives
- managing staff and resources to that end
- monitoring progress towards meeting the school’s aims and objectives.
