St. Francis Church of England Primary (or Livesey St. Francis CE Primary School to give it its formal title), is a one-form entry school just outside Blackburn in the parish of Feniscliife.

Our school is situated next to the Leeds-Liverpool canal and we have extensive playing fields which have been utilised to deliver the Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) programme.

At St Francis CE Primary, our church school family is inspired to learn earnestly, care deeply, grow boldly, and find joy in the journey. Every day, our children live out these values through kindness, respect, and a love of learning.

We are really proud of the sense of community and the 'family atmosphere' that we have cultivated in which everybody is given the opportunity to flourish and to aspire to be their best.

We are proud that our children take on important leadership roles voted for by their peers. These roles help them develop responsibility, respect for others, and an understanding of democracy. Our pupils play a vital part in shaping the life of St Francis and show outstanding behaviour every day.

At our school, we provide a carefully designed curriculum that builds strong foundations from early years through to Year 6. Our teachers are committed to ensuring every child, including those with SEND, makes meaningful connections in their learning and achieves well. We continuously support our team to deliver the best education possible.

Our children at St Francis CE Primary learn about diversity, respect, and being good citizens. They actively raise funds for local and global charities and celebrate individuality as a positive part of British society. We are proud to prepare our children for life in a diverse and democratic community.
