We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join our school and take a lead on developing outstanding support for pupil behaviour while helping our colleagues thrive as subject leaders.

The Role: As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and leading our school’s vision for behaviour management and subject leadership development.

You will take charge of ensuring high standards of behaviour are maintained across the school and work closely with staff to develop their leadership roles in their respective subject areas.

You will be required to teach for one day a week and so must be an excellent classroom practitioner too.

The Severn Bridges Multi-Academy Trust and Governors of Mount Pleasant Primary School are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and expect all staff and volunteers to share the same commitment. These posts are subject to an enhanced DBS with children’s barred list check and will follow a safer recruitment policy.
