You will:

  • Support the Headteacher in delivery of the school vision, for all learners.
  • Be responsible for accelerating progress and raising standards of particular areas of our school, in line with the successful applicants’ strengths.
  • Take ownership of evidencing our improvement of outcomes for all learners.
  • Manage and motivate members of the school team, including teaching and support staff.
  • Monitoring progress towards the strategic implementation and evaluation of aims and objectives of the school, with a laser sharp focus on raising standards in the successful candidate’s area of responsibility and expertise.
  • Have a full understanding of processes involving children in care, child protection and safeguarding and be committed to working in partnership.
  • Have an innovative and creative approach.
  • Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning and the professional development of staff.
  • Have high expectations that motivate, support and challenge teachers and students alike.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
