What skills and experience we're looking for

From September, a new senior leadership structure will be in place comprising aHeadteacher, three Deputy Headteachers and two Assistant Headteachers alreadyin post. Specific responsibilities for this role will be agreed with the Headteacher,allowing flexibility to build on the successful candidate's strengths and experience.

This role offers both professional challenge and significant opportunity. It would suitan existing Deputy Headteacher seeking to broaden their experience ahead ofheadship, or an experienced Assistant Headteacher ready to take on their firstDeputy Headteacher role. At the same time, this secondment provides valuableexperience of working within a Catholic Multi Academy Trust and the collaboration,support and professional networks that this brings.Staff and students are looking for a leader with high expectations who leadsconsistently, whilst demonstrating care, compassion and integrity.

The post is offered full time for one academic year to allow full immersion withinthe school whilst enabling the successful candidate's "home" school to plan for succession and capacity building.

The position is available either as a secondment or fixed-term contract.

For secondment arrangements, the successful candidate will remain employed by their current employer and continuous service will be preserved. The Trust will cover all employer costs and salary enhancement will be available.
