What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will be an experienced senior leader in secondary education, with experience of leading change through creativity and innovation. They will take a lead role in developing the cultural capital of students to maximise engagement in the full range of school activities.

They will have good analytical skills, the ability to read data fluently, and track pupil progress. More importantly, the post holder will have a deep understanding of the barriers to participation, and real empathy, combined with extreme practicality, in devising simple and scalable solutions. The vehicle for delivering much of this cultural capital is the House system, and the post holder will have responsibility for this important element of life at Cheney.
