Deputy Headteacher - September 2025
We are looking for an inspirational leader to take the role of Deputy Headteacher following the recent promotion of the current Deputy to be the Headteacher from September. This is an exciting time at Priory Junior School as we consider the best ways to further develop our already successful school. Our most recent OFSTED inspection took place in November 2022, and we were delighted to maintain our 'Good' grading: "The school continues to be good. Pupils speak with fondness about their school experiences. On the playground and when in lessons, pupils treat each other with kindness. They are considerate towards each other’s needs. Pupils work hard to live up to leaders’ high expectations." The successful applicant will share our vision for children 'to be the best they can be' and work in collaboration with the Headteacher to continue the school's development. The role will include shared responsibility for a class and allocated leadership time.

- Develops staff with coaching, support, and empowerment
- Can continue to build on strong relationships with our parents, local schools and the wider community
