The role:
We are seeking a Deputy Headteacher to build on the Academy’s quality of education and take to an exceptional level. This person will be responsible for the furtherance of academic outcomes as well as the holistic support of students, leading in the building of strong, professional relationships that form the foundation of the work we do to help pupils become the best version of themselves.
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with a track record of excellent results. They will share the school’s vision and the belief that all pupils can achieve at the highest levels. This is a senior role in the school with substantial responsibility and the opportunity to have a broad impact on the running of the school. Working alongside the Headteacher, as one of two Deputy Headteachers, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school at a very exciting time in its development.
Whilst not a requirement for selection, the role would be suited to an individual who aspires to Headship in the near future. For such a candidate, we will put in place appropriate training and support such as the NPQH and wider Trust work.
