Deputy Headteacher - Responsibility for Raising Standards & Sixth Form job summary
St Clere’s School are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for Raising Standards & the success of the Sixth Form, who shares Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust’s co-operative and inclusive ethos. The Deputy Headteacher will work with the senior leadership team and will play a significant role to formulate the aims and objectives of the school, establishing the trust policies through which they shall be achieved. They will also support staff and manage resources to achieve the aims and objectives of the school and monitor progress towards their achievement.
St Clere’s School is a high achieving, oversubscribed school. We are a popular choice for families because our students succeed in many ways ad are taught by staff who teach with great energy and expertise in an environment that has exceptional facilities. Our school is set on the edge of Stanford-le-Hope and the substantial school buildings are surrounded by a large expanse of playing fields. We have a stunning range of facilities including a state-of-the-art Drama studio, fully refurbished Science labs, two Sports Pavilions, a 3G floodlit all-weather pitch, well-stocked Library with research facilities and high-quality study space. In addition, we have high specification classrooms with up-to-date ICT resources which enhance the teaching for all students and provide a comfortable environment in which to learn.
