Deputy Headteacher Permanent, Full Time Leadership Scales 10-14 Start date January 2021 although could be flexed to allow for the appointment of an outstanding, suitably qualified and experienced candidate Rossett Acre Primary School, part of the Red Kite Learning Trust, is a successful two-form entry primary school on the south side of Harrogate. With 394 pupils, our school vision is ‘Excellence and Happiness for all’ with our aim being that all of our pupils achieve their potential and are happy in their learning. We are seeking to recruit a Deputy Headteacher who… Is a strong leader and team player who will work with the Headteacher to strive for excellence and success at every level Is able to plan strategically, implement and lead change for improvement Has an inclusive purpose, raising and supporting the achievements of all to reach their potential Has excellent interpersonal skills and qualities that motivate parents, children and staff Is an excellent communicator and has a strong commitment to working in partnership with stakeholders Can lead by example: in the classroom, supporting and developing others, and living the school values Has an inspiring passion for education and making a difference to children’s lives, and has high expectations for outstanding learning Ideally has a SEN qualification, though we are happy to support candidates if they have a willingness to study for it if appointed.
