The Governing Body of St Wilfrid’s Catholic Primary School, Burgess Hill is seeking to appointa strong, dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacherto further the achievements of this inclusive and happy school.

The successful applicant will be:
- A practising Catholic who has a clear understanding of the distinctive nature of a Catholic School and is willing to take an active role in the life & mission of the school.
- Passionate about providing an excellent education for all children at St Wilfrid’s.
- Dedicated to school improvement and raising standards.
- A school leader who has experience in school development.
- Is innovative and knowledgeable; confident to work alongside the Headteacher and governing body to further develop the school vision.
- A strategic thinker who can further develop articulate and continue to develop the school vision for effectiveness, inclusion and wellbeing for all in the St Wilfrid’s School family.
- An excellent primary classroom practitioner. Able to develop, inspire and challenge staff.
- Committed to build on existing relationships with parents, the Parish, BOSCO CET, the Diocese, Local Authority and wider community whilst fostering new relationships.
- Able to identify strengths and weaknesses to further develop the potential of pupils and staff.
