It is a great privilege to be the Headteacher of Welton St Mary’s Church of England Primary Academy. Welton St Mary’s is a wonderful school- a thriving learning community – where every child is encouraged to discover and nurture his and her special gifts and talents through a stimulating curriculum.

We have a very committed and dedicated team of staff who work incredibly hard to provide a safe and secure environment where every child can learn, flourish and thrive – academically, emotionally, socially, physically and spiritually. We aim to give each and every child the best experiences possible to enable them to grow into confident, responsible and successful adults, knowing that if they work hard to do the very best they can, they can aspire to be whatever they want to be.

We are fortunate to receive tremendous support from our parents and carers. The home- school partnership is one of exceptional importance to us as we firmly believe that this is the key to ensuring successful learning for each and every child.

The continued success of our school is dependent upon the strength of the partnerships we build with everyone in our school community including local preschools, secondary schools and St Mary’s Church. Each of these partnerships is built on a basis of mutual trust and understanding enabling us all work together for our children.

At Welton St Mary’s each and every child’s happiness and success is at the heart of all that we do.
I look forward to welcoming you to Welton St Mary’s Church of England Primary Academy where you can see why our school is so special.
