William Booth Primary & Nursery School is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic, and hard-working Deputy Head Teacher.
We are looking for a leader who is an excellent teaching practitioner with high expectations for pupil progress.
Located in Sneinton, Nottingham, our school serves a wonderfully diverse community, offering a rich and rewarding experience for both students and staff alike.
You would be joining a team of committed and supportive professionals; the school can offer lots of opportunity to develop and enhance your skills through training and support.

You will:
- Have a proven track record in leading others and strategic change
- Take personal and collective responsibility for ensuring that William Booth achieves its strategic plans and objectives
- Support and drive organisational change
- Handle situations and problems with innovation and creativity
- Show respect and positive regard for others. Work effectively with individuals and teams
- Show evidence of clear analytical thinking and get to the heart of complex problems and issues
- Be a consistently good or better primary teacher with secure evidence-based understanding of what makes great teaching.
- Be reflective, enjoy challenge and embrace support.
- Be passionate about teaching and learning and driven by making a difference to every child.
- Care passionately about children and their holistic development whilst still driving forward pupil progress and achievement.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build on and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents and carers, children, governors and the local and wider community.
