Deputy Manager job summary

Our Care Club is a thriving provision that provides a place for children to come and play, explore, build on friendships, and enjoy the outdoors during both term time and holiday periods.

Our Care Club operates:

Breakfast club 7.45 am-8.45 am

After school club 3.00 pm- 6.00 pm Monday -Thursday & 3.00-5.00 pm on Friday

Holiday club 8.30 am-5.30 pm Monday-Thursday and 8.30 am-5.00 pm on Friday.

We are a committed and experienced staff team, who care deeply about the children in our care. We give children who attend a great start and end to their school day, understanding that children have different needs and cater to them. In addition, our popular holiday club provides exciting play opportunities in a safe fun environment.

We are seeking someone who can:

Support our Manager and Deputise for them in their absence

Assist in the day-to-day management duties

Actively monitor the health and safety of the Care Club and reduce the risk of accidents

Oversee and take responsibility, along with other staff, for following the club’s arrivals and departures procedures

In addition to this the successful candidate will:

Have experience of working with 4 -11-year-olds;

Be able to facilitate the provision of safe, creative, appropriate play opportunities, allowing the children in our care to explore on their own with unobtrusive adult supervision.

Take a role in activity planning and preparation and will be required to actively contribute to the development and quality of the setting.
